Bitcoin (BTC-USD) continues to dominate the crypto markets, spearheading every bull run and attracting a significant portion of investment funds. It’s important to note, though, that experienced traders often find the most exciting opportunities beyond Bitcoin. In every bull market, an “altseason” appears where alternative cryptocurrencies, or altcoins, undergo exceptional growth and yield extraordinary returns.
Bittensor (TAO-USD) has surfaced as a notably bullish crypto project in recent times. The token’s value has catapulted from under $50 to over $730 in a brief span of five months. Bittensor promotes collaborative training of machine learning (ML) models and compensates them in TAO based on their provided value, essentially establishing an open marketplace for AI products.
Tatsu (TAT-USD) is an interesting newcomer to the crypto field with a goal to unify the realms of decentralization and machine learning to facilitate advanced applications. Although the concept is undeniably thrilling, the inherent volatility makes it the riskiest choice on this list.
Render Token (RNDR-USD) has recently gained attention for its cloud GPU services. However, in my view, the open-source Golem (GLM-USD) still holds 10X potential with its relatively smaller market cap of $590 million.
Recently, Xend Finance (RWA-USD) has seen a significant surge, with its cryptocurrency increasing 21% in the last 24 hours and a remarkable 150% over the past week. Xend is in the process of tokenizing tangible assets such as real estate, art, stocks, and intellectual properties.
The Solana (SOL-USD)-based, dog-themed meme coin, Myro (MYRO-USD), has seen a slowdown recently. Despite this, I suggest it could see a substantial boost from the soaring popularity of both Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) and the Solana blockchain itself.
I highlighted the Ator Protocol (ATOR-USD) crypto project back in mid-July last year when it was trading around 35 cents. Since then, it has seen a considerable increase, although a significant correction in November caused it to drop from $2 to 60 cents.
Meme cryptos, such as the one mentioned in the Myro section, are gaining a lot of attention. Dogecoin, the most recognizable and influential of them all, has risen to 22 cents. Despite this, I believe there is still a significant potential for further growth once the broader altcoin season truly gets underway.
